One of the themes in PNGRT is “acceptance and not running away from one’s own problems.” Bor/Por stays true to this in his love story and it becomes his ultimate life lesson and way of living. Bor/Por is a loving and devoted man. He cares a lot for his family (his sister, Putt, and niece, Nunim) and his beloved Kaew, the love of his life. He also has undying love for everyone and everything that Kaew loves and he is willing to face any hardship with Kaew. However, he is left in disappointment when Kaew decides to leave him, not ready to face the problem of murder between their families. After six years of separation from Kaew, his love for her is endless and only grows stronger despite his ability to accept it himself.  Bor/Por doesn’t know it, but he makes it a goal to relay his life lesson to Kaew in hopes to make her realize their fate to be with one another.

Family comes first in Kaew’s life as she appears to be headstrong in making her own choices, even to the point of sacrificing her happiness for the peace in her family. However, underneath it all, she emotionally struggles with the thought of not having Bor in her life. She runs away from reality as Bor pleas for her strength. But her determination to keep him away from her will be difficult upon meeting six years later. To prove to Bor/Por that she isn’t afraid to face her own problems, she accepts to be his personal secretary. Through a matter of events, Kaew is lead to face the fact that she is afraid of her own feelings and strength rather than those of her loved ones, including Bor.
