Finale+

Here are some last thoughts on wrapping up
พรุ่งนี้ก็รักเธอ/Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter (Tomorrow, I’ll Still Love You).

A Bloodbath of a Finale

Being such a big fan of Bor and Kaew, I would have loved to see the whole finale dedicated to them, but it would have not been fitting. After all, we would have not gotten so invested in their love if it wasn’t for Pipat and his crazy wife’s doings. Their actions are what caused the predicament that Bor and Kaew are in now so it was fitting that at the end both Pipat and Putt got the karma that was fated them.

Pipat getting paralyzed (I totally agree with you whiterose) was an even better punishment than death. His womanizing nature was the cause for the misunderstanding but he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger and took a life. Thus, at the end, he didn’t lose his life directly but lost “his” life as he knew it. A man who prided himself of “moving” from one woman to the next could no longer “move” his own body. Needless to say, I was quite satisfied with how he ended up.

Whereas Pipat was evil, Putt really wasn’t an evil person. She was just a crazy selfish extremist. If she saw you as good, you were just good all around but if she saw you as evil, you were just plain evil. There is no in between with her. Either you are one or the other. Sadly she never did apologize to Kaew or her family but her admittance that she was stupid for believing an evil person like Pipat was as close of an apology as we’ll get from her. But like songielove said in the chat group, her biggest form of apology was taking her own life. Seriously this woman needed major psychiatric help.

I thought Awn’s death was a bit harsh. I thought just being embarrassed from the wedding fiasco and losing the baby would have been an adequate punishment for her but in life, people do die from association. It was her misfortune that she fell in love with Bor, came into contact with the craziness that is Putt and her destiny was sealed when she joined forces with Pipat to break up Bor and Kaew.

We already knew that Pe and Kong had already got their happy ending ever since the last episode so it came as no surprise that Pe would take Kong to America for eye treatment. On a side note, I never realized that Fluke was taller than Oh until Giakiem pointed it out to me last night in the viewing party.

And how sweet were Tunwa and Pueng? I have really come to love the Pueng and Tunwa combo after rewatching the series again. They are so funny and cute together and they make a great team when it comes to helping out Bor and Kaew. The whole thing with the shrimp was so adorable.

Nuithi really did fall off the face of this lakorn, huh? We saw him last in episode 27 when the police came over to arrest Kaew at her home. And when Nuithi’s parents said that they didn’t want a murder suspect as a daughter in law, I guess that was that. Either Nuithi was a mamma’s boy or Exact got a lot of feedback from the fans to cut Nuithi out of the lakorn b/c he was so irritating. Remember what I posted about the Pantip forum thread that was solely dedicated to hating Nuithi? LOL, who knows, huh?

Finally, our beloved Bor and Kaew. How many times have we said that the reason their love was so profound was because they shared a past? A past that was created from 3 years of dating and 6 years of separation. Six years in which two innocent lovers were torn apart by a murder, by an obstacle beyond their control. Six agonizing years of going through life without each others touch, warmth, smile, laughter, and embrace. We could only imagine how they must have yearned for the other. So I thought it was fitting that the lakorn ended where they left off six years ago.

Six years ago, their relationship ended on the sands of that beach. Kaew tearfully watching from afar as a crying and distraught Bor was waiting for her to come and see him that heart breaking night. Now here they are again at the same exact location. He is professing his love once again but this time she professes hers, too and she steals his line, “yesterday, today, or tomorrow, I’ll still love you.” They both agree to get married and seal the agreement with a kiss. They were as cute as ever. Kaew was literally glowing and Bor had the biggest smile we have ever seen on him.

It is sad that Bor is left with no family of his own but the one thing that he wanted most in life and could not have until now is his lovely dokKaew. She was and will continue to be the love of his life as he was and will continue to be the love of her life. Yes, all is right with PNGRT. The lakorn gods definitely answered our prayers and then some. Thank you Khun Boy for such a wonderfully acted, written, directed, heart wrenching, and memorable lakorn.

It’s official. This is my favorite lakorn now and Aom and Pong are definitely my favorite onscreen couple. I’m so sad it’s over. -looksy@sarnworld

What Will Happen Tomorrow?

Yes, they’re Kaew’s exact, uttering words. It’s hard to imagine that the last episode has ended and Bor and Kaew will be starting fresh from where they ended. It’s, afterall, the way it should be.

พรุ่งนี้ก็รักเธอ/Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter (Tomorrow, I’ll Still Love You) is officially my all-time favorite lakorn. Pong and Aom are officially my all-time favorite lakorn pair. <3333 The love of Bor and Kaew is something one “will never be able to have again in [his] lifetime” (a semi-quote from Kaew :P ). Similarly, i don’t think another lakorn will be able to move me this much. It practically spoiled me and kept me hanging on. I wholeheartedly love Bor and Kaew and there is no other way i can say it better.

I think Bor was really the reason why i stayed with this lakorn for so long, so i must show my love and appreciation for him (i love Bor’s reactions and facial expressions). He is the strongest character even when he’s tearing up inside. His genuine love for one woman (Kaew) was undeniable. His anger and jealousy was out of pain and desire to teach. I hope that everyone will be able to see things in his eyes.

One thing i mentioned in the chatroom was that even though Kaew may have lost her sister, Khing, Bor is the much poorer one. He may have all the riches, but he never had family that loved him the way Kaew’s family did. He never had anyone supporting him the way Kaew’s family supported her. When he lost Kaew (the first and second time), no one was on his side. He became the person he is through strength, learning, and persistence. Besides the line (and title) “Tomorrow, I’ll still love you” being a theme for this lakorn, it is also “Don’t run away from the problem” that keeps on reappearing. Bor repeatedly encourages Kaew to not run away and so it becomes his life motto. Another thing i noticed is that he doesn’t worry about the far future much. Notice that Kaew asks Bor about 3-4 times throughout the lakorn “What will happen tomorrow?” Bor doesn’t know and doesn’t worry about the future as much. He only knows and says one truth, “Tomorrow, I’ll still love you.” This is quite reflective of Bor and Kaew’s characteristics. Kaew thinks about the future and the people surrounding her, her family. She thinks about what other people will say about her family whereas Bor worries for Kaew, the person he wholeheartedly loves.

I love Bor… and Pong.
And i really loved what looksy said in the chatroom. Something like, Bor is really all the characteristics and Pong just happens to bring all the good looks to Bor, the extra plus. ;) I think that’s what’s special about Bor though. It’s his characteristics that make him lovable and it’s Pong that makes Bor irresistible.xD All in all, there is really no Bor without Pong. Pong has blown me away with his performance as Bor in PNGRT. I feel like having a Pong marathon after my PNGRT marathon. <3 And i don’t think that was possible without Aom as his partner. She really does bring out the best in her pra`eks.

There are so many things to read between the lines with this lakorn and i think that’s why i cry so much more the second time around while watching it. It’s because i see and understand these things beneath the surface that makes it much more touching. I hope everyone will see these in-depth feelings and reasonings behind Bor and Kaew and will continue to show your love and support. I feel pity for those who haven’t been following this lakorn, but i can’t be disappointed for i am glowing just as bright as Kaew. I’m just so satisfied with this lakorn and feel a much more deeper love and appreciation for Pong and Aom. –I’m trying my best not to sound Pong-biased.xD Even though he has been my favorite male lakorn actor, i still thought he needed some more work with his acting. It was his growth that i loved watching and PNGRT definitely shows and proves his true potential. Flawless! Ohhh~~ how i love Pong with melodrama!

So, what will happen tomorrow? Tomorrow, i’ll still love Bor and Kaew. -songielove@sarnworld

I decided to watch this one just a few weeks ago because I love Tik and Aom in “The Princess” and “Tricks of a Cunning Charmer”… I watched “Wanida” with Tik and Taff. I did like that too. Then I watched the one with Tik and Cherry. It was alright but didn’t make me love it as much as the other three. And so I decided to be fair and give another Thai actor a chance with Aom since Tik and Aom only had two lakorns together.
And it was one of the best decisions I ever made involving reading or watching any romantic stories!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pong!! He is now my favorite Thai actor. hahahaha it’s because his facial expression and his emotions that he is able to make my heart weak when he acts out what you would want in a man to feel for you! And his body is so pleasing to the eyes. Plus he is six feet tall too! HA!
He and Aom are so good together too that I can’t see them with anyone else! Though, I do like Tik and Aom but after PNGRT? I can’t help but love Pong and Aom so much!
Now with this story, their love is the best that I’ve ever read or seen in books, films, television, etc… I love this because it started with Por and Keaw already in love. And breaking up due to the hardest decision anyone would have to make if it happened to them. What would you do in this instance? Would you sacrifice the person you love to make your family at ease? or would you defy their happiness so you can be happy? But of all the people that hurt the most, Por was the one that hurt the most. He had two families to please. And a third for his dumb girlfriend.
I also love this story because of all the scenes of Por and Keaw after they finally meet again. From then on, I was glued to the monitor and didn’t shut off my laptop for 30 hours straight!!! I didn’t sleep at all! I only ate one time during those 30 hours and lost five pounds. With the lack of sleep and crying every five minutes for 30 hours, I got sick for the next two days. Luckily, I was off of work and then the weekend came for me to rest. HA!
But my favorite thing that made me love this drama is how jealous Por was and how mean he was to Keaw just because she left him broken hearted six years ago! I LOOOOOVE IT!!! Love the way, he worries about her after he does or say something mean to her. HAHAHAHAHA I’m going to watch this lakorn again! Now that I know how it turns out, I won’t be so stressed out when the evil people do evil things to Keaw and Por! kekeke
THANK YOU FOR DEDICATING THIS WEBSITE to PNGRT!!!!! I appreciate all the notations you’ve all made about this lakorn cause when I go back and watch it again, I’m going to pay attention to the details of what is between Por and Keaw!!
THANKS AGAIN!!! I truly appreciate this!!
